Noxzema vs. Venus Sea Breeze

I'm always up for trying new beauty products.   When I was younger I ripped out every page and home remedy for hair, make-up and skin out of my YM and Seventeen Magazines.  Along with trendy new work outs for my hot beach bod at the age of 14.  Needless to say, I can't walk out of a CVS with out buying something.

I know products that wont work for me and the ones that do.  I love Maybelline cosmetics,  the Colossal Lash mascara is better that the XXL Volume Lash - the one with the white lash extender ... it flakes and bits of mascara gets in your eyes.  And really doesn't add volume.  I attended the Shecky's Girls night out event with a friend and received a VIP bag of goodies.  Noxzema had some new products out.  One is a bikini area ointment and a new disposable razor. Then I tried to remember if they even still sold their face wash?

I used my Venus Sea Breeze razor and followed with the Noxzema bikini ointment. I usually use my old trick of applying deodorant.  I know it sounds strange, but you only need to put it on your bikini line, NOT ANYWHERE ELSE! Just like an upside down triangle.  The anti-perspirant helps keep the area dry and helps razor bumps from happening.  I didn't see much of a difference in using one or the other.

When my gel bars ran out on Venus Sea Breeze razor I proceeded to use the Noxzema disposable razor.  The razor did not look as appealing as my other razor, and appeared to be a little old school with a lime green high tech handle.  The experience wasn't what I had thought.  Afterwords, my legs began to itch like crazy and you can imagine the jiggly leg dance I did until I found a moisturizer.  It felt as if my skin had begun to shrivel, and dry up and cracking at each hair follicle.  When you get out of the shower this is the last thing you want to happen.  I was pissed and went back to my shower and took another look at the bag the razor came in.  Aloe vera bands around the blades ... bullshit they feel like plastic.  Helps prevent hair regrowth ... yeah because I'll need to have my leg amputated.  Then looking at the high tech hydraulic spring action handle was just ridiculous!  No one squeezes a razor that hard to shave their legs.

My vote, treat your legs to something other than soap or shaving cream.  The Venus Sea/Spa Breeze razors have a light gel that covers your legs.  You get out of the shower with smooth legs.  Make sure to put it back on the holder so the gel bars dry correctly.
